We believe that schools were created to meet the needs of our students; therefore, the primary goal of the Personnel Services Department of the Simi Valley Unified School District is to attract and serve the most talented and well-equipped teachers, administrators, and support staff possible ~ those who can provide our students with the skills they will need to succeed in life.

We strive to hire highly qualified, appropriately credentialed teachers, support staff, substitutes and administrators.  Employment opportunities for both Certificated Personnel  and Classified Personnel  are posted on our website as well as through advertisements and local school districts.

In addition to recruitment, the Personnel Services Staff is a helpful resource for current staff, both Classified and Certificated.  We provide support for those requiring information regarding credentialing and renewal, leaves of absence, job shares, transfer, salary advancement and stipends, retirement information, and substitute placement.
