The five members of the Board of Education are elected by the voters to four-year terms. The Board members are committed to providing the best educational programs for all students. The Board is responsible for the overall operation of the District. The Board appointed superintendent (Dr. Kathryn Scroggin) administers policy, manages the budget, supervises staff and make recommendations concerning the District's operation. The Board selected Trustee Collins as Board President and Trustee Davis as Board Clerk at the annual organizational meeting which was held December 10, 2013.

"The regular Board of Education meetings are held as posted. Any revision to the posted dates requires Board approval. The meetings are recorded pursuant to Government Code Section 4953.5(b) and held in the City of Simi Council Chambers, 2929 Tapo Canyon Road, beginning promptly at 6:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted. The agenda is posted for a minimum of 72 hours prior to Board meeting dates on this web page, at the entrance to the District Educational Services Center at 875 E. Cochran Street, and all District school sites. Special Board meeting notices are posted 24 hours prior to the meeting and held in the Floyd Binns Room, Educational Services Center beginning at 5:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted. A full agenda packet with explanatory materials is available for public review at the District Office or by clicking on the appropriate folder to the right. Once you click on the link, you will be able to access meeting agendas and minutes for that particular meeting.
