Dr. Jason Peplinski, Ed.D

Board/Superintendent: The Governing Board of Education is elected by the community to provide leadership and citizen oversight of the Simi Valley Unified School District. As the Chief Executive Officer of the District, the Superintendent implements all Board decisions and manages the instructional and noninstructional operations of the schools. The Superintendent also serves as a member of the governance team, and has responsibilities to support Board operations and decision-making.

Associate Superintendent Business Services

Ron Todo

Business Services oversees the school district's day-to-day operations, supporting the educational program through its many departmental functions. Fiscal services, information technology, food services, facilities and planning, maintenance and operations, risk management, purchasing, student safety and transit are all part of Business Services.

Assistant Superintendent Educational Services

Hani Youssef

Educational Services is responsible for directing, supervising, coordinating and evaluating District-level programs and personnel involved in curriculum development, instructional process and procedures, educational technology, categorically funded programs, student support services and student assessment (pre-Kindergarten through Adult Education). The Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services provides direct support to the directors and staff of Educational Services and Student Support Services.

Personnel Services partners with various District departments, school administrators and employee union groups to recruit, select, develop, and manage a highly-skilled and diverse workforce in support of educational services and student achievement.

Executive Director, Student Support Services 

Sean Goldman

Student Support Services has two divisions. The Student Services Division provides information on health services, home teaching, interdistrict permits and student records. The Special Education Division provides information on special education classes, psychological services including assessment for special education services, speech and language services, occupational therapy, adaptive physical education, visually impaired services, transportation and extended school year.

Director, Elementary Education

As part of Educational Services, the Director of Elementary Education is responsible for supporting and supervising elementary school principals, overseeing the Junior and Transitional Kindergarten programs and fielding concerns from parents of elementary school students.

As part of Educational Services, the Director of Secondary Education is responsible for supporting and supervising the secondary school principals (middle and high schools), overseeing Adult Education and fielding concerns from parents of secondary school students
