The Student Safety and Transit Department offers a wide array of services.  We provide Transportation to and from School as well as Field Trips.  Our drivers are well screened and tested by The California Highway Patrol and The Department of Motor Vehicles.  Each driver receives a complete background check by The Department of Justice, Driver training taught by California State Certified Instructors thru The California Department of Education as well as the Simi Valley Unified School District.  Our goal is to provide you and your students the safest drivers with the safest equipment available.

We have five Mechanics on staff that provide services for over one hundred vehicles owned and operated by the school district.  We have an ongoing prevention and maintenance program where each school bus receives a safety inspection each day by the driver, every 45 days by the Mechanics and annually by the California Highway Patrol, Motor Carrier Safety Unit.

We have a 24-hour answering service (805 520-6656) for you to leave any message you need to get to us whether it be calling in a student absence or complimenting one of your favorite drivers.  We're here to help.
